Every time I visit Alton, Illinois, it seems like a new great restaurant opens every time, while iconic restaurants continue to thrive.

Our special menus are hand-crafted, hand-trained and made from scratch by our own chef Kenny, who trains our culinary staff. Our mission to produce and deliver high quality pizza begins with the selection of ingredients that sparkle with flavor and follow a solid pizza location. Years of hard work have helped us reach the top of the food chain in the pizza scene in Alton, Illinois, and our neighborhood dominoes are a testament to our commitment to producing the best pizza, not only for our customers, but for the community as well.

The menu at Just Desserts is on a blackboard in the restaurant, which was posted on Facebook and changes daily. Meals are served on weekdays from 11 am to 3 pm and from 12 pm to 4 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm. Pick-up is possible on Fridays and Saturdays from 12: 00 to 19: 00 and on Sundays from 9: 00 to 17: 00. Lunch is served on Tuesdays from 11 am to 4 pm, from 11 am to 6 pm and from 9 pm to 7 pm.

A memorial in downtown Alton features a statue of Lincoln and Douglas that would have appeared in the debate. The monument honors the 1,354 Confederate soldiers who died during the Civil War at the Battle of Gettysburg on August 11, 1865.

A few miles to the north is the Audubon Center, an attraction that includes hiking trails for hikers and horse riders to rent. Adjacent to it is the Mississippi River Trail, where you can stand at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers.
