Splash City was originally designed for young children and it is genuinely perfect for them. They are currently focusing on adding attractions for teenage kids with inclusion of a 'surfing' simulator, lazy river and large pool....but the 'great' stuff is for the younger crowd of 10 and under. There is a huge attraction for young kids where they can climb and run under water which ends in a water slide, a baby pool that is much bigger than you usually find, and a HUGE pool that ranges in height 1.5 foot and under. It is a great place for the whole family and very affordable for a park of its size - $12 for kids and $15 for adults.

Splash City is a great place for family summer fun. Though the admission , at $9 for nonresidents, is not cheap, the facility is very clean and offers something for every age level. With its zero-entry pools, it's an especially nice place to take very small children, but older kids have plenty of larger water slides to play on. The pool area that's deep enough for swimming is not very large, but I believe they're adding a lap pool for 2006. There are plenty of giant umbrellas for those who like to stay out of the sun. Lockers are available for .25. To avoid the crowds, go in the afternoon and stay until evening. To lower the cost, use the annual buy-one-get-one-free coupon in the Entertainment Book.
